These 29 drawings (ink and gouache on paper, 29 × 29 cm), were made after travelling for a month in India. This project arose from the difficulty of extracting of the rhythm of India’s cities in what was often a hostile physical environment.
Each drawing shows different moments of a cellphone on a desk. In this series the vertical point of view and indicated time act like evidence in a criminal investigation. Through the objects that surround a memory they deal with the everyday life that remains after a journey, the endless attempts we make to recover images, feelings, and ideas, and all our desires to find a mood through a screen.
